Five reasons you should register for the Clare Classic before Sunday

By 7 November 20192020 News

The 2020 Clare Classic may be six months away but you’ll be missing out if you don’t register before this Sunday!

The Gran Fondo for South Australia is back 4-5 April with a whole new addition, the Dirty Clare gavel ride.

Here’s five reasons why you should put your name down for what is sure to be an authentic country ride!

1. FREE Cinettica jersey

This is the big one. If you register before Sunday, 10 November, you’ll get a premium Clare Classic jersey designed by Cinettica for absolutely nothing. That’s right, a pro jersey valued at $110 for a big fat zero!*

*Offer excludes Dirty Clare & Social Classic riders and expires 11.59pm 10 November, 2019.

2. Save $10 when registering for Dirty Clare

New in 2020 is Dirty Clare, an 80km gravel adventure through South Australia’s stunning Spring Gully Conservation Park. It’s set to be an amazing experience and gravel newcomers and mountain bikers are more than welcome. Better still, given Dirty Clare is on 4 April you can do two rides over one weekend. Sign up for Dirty Clare and a Sunday road ride and you’ll save $10!

3. Authentic South Australian experience

South Australia is one of the country’s best-kept secrets. Not the top of every tourist’s list but locals and those in the know are aware of just how special it is. The countryside is simply serene and the views afforded by Clare Valley make it one of the prime cycling destinations in Australia.

4. World-class wines

South Australian wines are well known but often people think of the Barossa Valley. Well the Clare Valley is just as good and comes with its own express transport system, the Riesling Trail. Hop on your bike and leisurely explore a host of vineyards and cellar doors offering gourmet food and the best drop around.

5. Friendly competition

The Clare Classic isn’t a race but that doesn’t mean you can’t test yourself. More importantly, this could be the chance to get one over your mates. So sign up and bring a friend for the ultimate cycling test!
